Hi, I’m Dr. Lesley Toser.

If you’re living with pain, injury, or illness, you may feel frustrated or unsure how to move forward without making things worse. Many people I work with have tried multiple treatments and are still searching for care that truly listens to their experience and supports both their body and mind.

I’m a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in mind–body approaches for people with chronic pain, injury, and complex health conditions. My work is focused on helping you reduce pain, restore movement, rebuild trust in your body, and return to the activities that matter to you—safely and confidently.

Rather than pushing through pain, I use gentle movement to help your body regain strength, flexibility, balance, and comfort. By working with your body’s natural intelligence, we create the conditions for healing, resilience, and long-term change.

You can expect care that is holistic and individualized with advanced treatment techniques to provide you with the highest 1:1 quality care possible.  I will listen to your story, honor your lived experience, and work with you to create a clear, supportive path forward that helps you feel safer in your body and more hopeful about what’s possible.

Physical Therapy for Pain Relief

 Let's address your mechanical/structural pain problems,  address any place where trauma is stored in your body and release that and find your ideal movement therapy.

We will:  Find optimal alignment of the spine and joints

Get your nerves sliding and gliding with neural manipulation to allow them to function and relieve nerve pain.

 Relax your muscles with trigger point release, myofascial therapy, dry needling.

Balance your muscles with intelligent, individualized movements for mobility and strength.

Meet Dr. Toser

  • Hi, I am Dr. Lesley Toser, PT, DPT, Founder of Inspire Physio Therapy.

    The start of my path came from my own love of running, dance, yoga, sports, adventure and the outdoors.  I have been on a long journey, I lived years with pain from injury, trauma, and scoliosis. I got injections, chiropractic care, medications and got brief relief but felt like I would never get better.  I couldn't work and take the medications I was so sedated. Finally, thanks to a wonderful manual physical therapist and my own yoga practice helping me connect with myself, my emotions and my body, I was able to recover.  The fire was lit and I became a therapist and love sharing my clinical experience and knowledge as well as my own personal road to healing to help others do what they love.

My passion is to help you create the life you want, starting with healing, strengthening, natural movement so that you can do all the cool things you want to do. We are magnificent beings made up mostly of energy with unlimited ability to heal and change with the right tools in a supportive environment.  

 Meditation ignites your body's own inner pharmacy of natural pain killers. I have found meditation and connecting with the heart have changed my life so that I am more present and in awe.  There are many ways to connect with these elevated emotions and altered states including being outside, doing yoga and breathing to connect with kundalini energy and higher states of consciousness.  I am passionate about healing energy work, breathwork, and natural movement — all of which help create wholeness and a sense of safety, allowing us to create the life we want to live. 

My exercise method is beneficial to all, including:

I received my Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 at the University of New Mexico and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 with a focus on Manual Therapy. My dissertation was on Computerized Gait Lab assessment and Therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy, published in PT Journal. I completed an extensive Therapeutic Pain Certification and a Pain Residency at the Royal United Hospital Intensive Pain Program in Bath, England.

Since, then I have extensively studied post graduate courses for dry needling, mental health and mind-body techniques, Pain Science, manual therapy techniques including nerve mobilizations, fascial and visceral release.
